PURPOSE: To obtain an amount of cement in soil cement slime in real time when a structure is worked with the soil cement based on the correlation of the amount of water content, a counting ratio and the amount of the cement, which are obtained beforehand, by detecting the amount of water content and the counting ratio of thermal neutrons in the slime. CONSTITUTION: In addition to water, cement and admixture, a tracer, which is to become a thermal-neutron absorbing agent at the specified rate with respect to the amount of the cement, is added, and a cement-milk hardening material is manufactured. The cement milk is injected into the dug earth, and the soil cement structure is constituted. The soil cement slime, which is discharged on the ground in correspondence with the amount of the hardening material, is sent into a soil-cement measuring step. In the measuring step, the neutrons are applied on the sample, and the amount of the water content is detected based on the number of the transmitting high-speed neutrons. At the same time, the speed of the high-speed neutrons is decreased and the neutrons become the thermal neutrons. The neutrons are further absorbed with the tracer, and the number of the decreased thermal neutrons is obtained. Then, the amount of the cement is detected based on the amount of the water content and counted ratio of the thermal neutrons. |
