<p>PURPOSE: To improve the miniaturization of a device body without impairing the operability of a pen in a compact/portable pen type information processor. CONSTITUTION: The pen type information processor 1 consists of a device main body 2, a pen 3 and a power supply cable 4 connecting the main body 2 to the pen 3. The pen 3 is provided with a battery housing part 40 for housing a battery 41 and power is supplied from the battery 41 to the body 2 through the cable 4. A tablet and an information processing part 30 are driven by power supplied to the main body 2. When an operator takes out the pen 3 from a pen housing part 20 at the time of using the processor 1, a power supply switch 53 is turned on to supply power to the body 2 and then an auxiliary switch 54 is turned on to supply power to the tablet. In the case of storing the pen 3 in the pen housing part 20 when the processor 1 is not used, the switch 54 is turned off at first to stop the tablet and then the switch 53 is turned off to stop power supply to the body 2.</p> |
