<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an accurate and compact focus detection and photometry device provided with a function which can detect a focus, execute spot photometry and change the photometry visual field range of the spot photometry. CONSTITUTION: A subject image is formed on a prescribed plane surface by a detection optical system consisting of a photographing lens 1, a visual field diaphragm 2, a condenser lens 3, image reforming diaphragms 11 and 7 and image reforming lenses 5 and 8. Based on the output of a photodetector for detecting a focus 6 on a sensor substrate placed on the prescribed plane surface, a focus detection signal for detecting the focus state of the lens 1 is outputted. Besides, the different photometry visual fields whose light is received by photodetectors for photometry 9a and 9b are provided within the focus detection visual field whose light is received by the photodetector 6. Then, a photometry signal for detecting the luminance state of the object is outputted based on the outputs of the photodetectors 9a and 9b on the sensor substrate. The detection optical system and the sensor substrate are formed as a module which can be integrated and the photodetectors 9a and 9b on the sensor substrate are respectively provided with the different-sized photometry visual fields.</p> |
