<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image processing method and a device for a multitarget radar for imaging plural targets pitching and rolling in relatively long cycles like marine vessels floating on the water surface, in a sufficiently shorter time than the pitching and rolling cycles of these targets and with quality sufficiently withstanding practical use and accordingly, enabling the rapid and positive identification of these targets. CONSTITUTION: Position information on all of plural targets is obtained in batch in advance, and radar beams are radiated on the basis of the position information of each target with position information obtained so as to collect the amplitude/phase information. The target is imaged on the basis of the collected amplitude/phase information. On the basis of identification information, the target is identified from the obtained target information, and this is repeated in a time sharing mode in a cycle sufficiently shorter than the pitching and rolling cycles of these targets.</p> |
