<p>PURPOSE: To provide a diagnostic device for electronic control system able to move to a check mode by starting surely a diagnostic program only when desired and without operating a panel that has some fear of a switch fualt or a misoperation. CONSTITUTION: A connector 60 is provided to freely connect and disconnect a check mode setting unit 70 to and from each output signal line of an inside air sensor 14 and an outside air sensor 15 which construct a car air conditioning device. The unit 70 is externally connected at a dealer, for example, and at the same time, forcibly sets each output value of both sensors 14 and 15 at the opposite value corresponding to a prescribed temperature range. A microcomputer 22 starts a diagnostic program 25 to move to a check mode when an IG switch 50 is turned on and as long as the output value of both sensors 14 and 15 are equal to the opposite value corresponding to a prescribed temperature range.</p> |
