PURPOSE: To provide a system capable of quickly starting the system at the staring of initial operation, enhancing conversion efficiency of fuel to hydrogen even at low temperature, and preventing the poisoning of platinum to stabilize catalytic activity. CONSTITUTION: Fuel whose main component is alcohol such as methanol, or ammonia is converted into hydrogen by decomposition reaction in a decomposition reactor 22. The hydrogen generated is passed through a hydrogen separating film 24 set within the decomposition reactor 22 to take out purified hydrogen, and the purified hydrogen is used as fuel hydrogen of a fuel cell. |
