PURPOSE: To prolong the usable time by sustaining the temperature of solder resist ink at a low level in order to enhance productivity in the solder resist printing. CONSTITUTION: A print stage 1 is made of metal and has a hollow structure with cooling water inlet 1a and outlet 1b being provided, respectively, at the opposite ends thereof. Cooling water controlled to a predetermined temperature lower than a normal temperature is fed into the hollow part of the print stage 1 in order to sustain the print stage 1 constantly at 15±2 deg.C. When the cooling water is fed to the print stage during the print operation, a solder resist ink 5 on a screen mask 2 touches the cooled print stage 1 through the mesh of the screen mask 2. Consequently, the solder resist 5 is cooled indirectly and the hardening rate is lowered as compared with that under normal temperature thus retarding increase of viscosity.
