<p>PURPOSE: To provide a developer which does not contain any charge control agent, which has a sufficient chargeability, with which toner does not scatter during copying, with which a copied image having a required density can be stably obtained for a long time, which causes no spent and which is excellent in durability. CONSTITUTION: A binary system developer contains toner and carrier. The toner contains toner particles which in turn contains fixing resin, magnetic powder and metallic salt stearate. The fixing resin has an anionic polar group. The magnetic powder and the metallic salt stearate are contained at predetermined ratios in the toner particles. Each of particles of the carrier is composed of a core particle and a cover layer, the core particle being made of a predetermined magnetic material, and the cover layer containing alkylated melamine rein and acrylic denatured silicone resin, having predetermined molecular weights.</p> |
