PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of resonance characteristic of a resonator. CONSTITUTION: A vibration input part 2 for applying a vibration is provided on one end of an elastic deforming part 1 having two resonance vibration mode in bending direction and torsional direction, and a movable part 3 having a mirror surface 4 for scanning an optical beam is provided on the other end of the elastic deforming part 1. A rectangular mass adjusting part 6 which is removable, is provided in the top end side part of the movable part 3, and the mass adjusting part 6 can be removed by cutting a laterally narrowed connecting part 7. The inertial moment of the movable part 3 is changed by the removal of the mass adjusting part, and the bending directional resonance frequency and the torsional directional resonance frequency can be regulated, respectively.
