<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image-forming device which easily controls a carry belt in the direction of its deviation, at the same time, minimizes meandering of the transfer-material carry belt, and prevents color slippage of an image on a transfer-material in the direction of main scan. CONSTITUTION: The device is equipped with the carry belt 12 which carries the transfer material to a plurality of photosensitive drums 2 in order, a carry means consisting of a drive roller 16 and tapered follower-roller 17, between which the carry belt 12 is stretched; a plurality of transfer means 5 which transfers images, formed on the photoreceptor drum 2, to the transfer material carried by the carry means, and a first and second follower-roller compression- spring 18 which energizes the large-diameter part and small-diameter part of the follower-roller 17 to apply tension to the carry belt 12, the energizing force of the small-diameter part being smaller than that of the large-diameter part.</p> |
