<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the generation of an unusual sound when a reversal part is moved in the circumferential direction by providing a projection extending in the circumferential direction in the upper inner surface of a housing opposite to the side edge of the reversal part of a flat cable. CONSTITUTION: When a rotary body 1 fixed to a steering wheel is rotated with respect to housings 5, 7 fixed to a steering column, a flexible flat cable (FFC) for making the electrical connection between both members moves a reversal part 11a in the circumferential direction between the outer circumferential surface of the rotary body 1 and the inner circumferential surface of the housings 5, 7 so as to deal with it. At that time, even when the FFC 11 is moved to the upper inner surface of the housing 5 opposite to the axial direction of the rotary body 1, it is brought into contact with the projection 49 to slide in the state of a small contact area. Also, the central part of the reversal part 11a is not brought into contact with the housing 5. Therefore, the generation of an unusual sound can be suppressed or avoided.</p> |
