PURPOSE: To provide a charger which can charge plural kinds of storage batteries with the single charger by combining charger terminals, the determination of the storage batteries, and the arrangement of the storage batteries so as to conduct special action. CONSTITUTION: A charger is composed of a device main body 1, a slider 17 as determination means determining plural kinds of storage batteries, an up and down base 15, that is, a mounting portion as arrangement means arranging the determined battery 'by means of the determination means at a predetermined position so that the battery terminals of the storage battery touch charger terminals. The device main body 1 is made of such material as plastic or the like so as to be formed into approximately cube-like, and a hollow portion 31 is provided in its central portion so that the storage battery can be interposed. Holes 32a, 32b for containing the charger terminals 11, 12 are set in the two positions of its right inside face upper portion. A hole 34 for containing a guide 19, which makes battery terminals 33 touch the charger terminal 11 surely when a storage battery 2 is interposed into the device main body 1, is set in its left inside face upper portion. A hole 35, into which the slider 17 is fitted, is set in its right inside central portion. |
