摘要 PURPOSE: To accurately detect dischargeable capacity or deteriorated degree of a battery by obtaining an accurate full charge capacity from the variation amount or the difference of a map charge index and an integrating charge index. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor 6 is attached to a battery 1, and a current sensor 7 and a voltage sensor 8 are set in power supply lines 11, 12. A charger 5 and an inverter 3 are selectively connected to a relay 2, and an a.c. motor for wheel driving is connected to the inverter 3. Output signals of sensors 6, 7, 8 are inputted to a microcomputer 10 through an A/D convertor 9. A map charge index in which voltage immediately after the full charged battery is considered to be 100 and voltage reached cut-off voltage is considered to be, D is obtained from the voltage of the battery 1 discharged at a specified current value. An integrated charge index which is related to a value obtained by subtracting consumed capacity from temporary full charge capacity is calculated. Accurate full charge capacity is obtained from the variation amount or the difference of the map charge index and the integrated charge index, the temporary full charge capacity is corrected, and by subtracting consumed capacity from the corrected value, dischargeable capacity is obtained.
