PURPOSE: To provide a coaxial connector which is used as an output terminal of an instrument such as a distributor and a branching filter for transmitting an electric signal and does not cause a fault even when being left as an idle terminal. CONSTITUTION: A plug P is connected to an end of a coaxial connector C. A conductive connector main body 1 of the connector C is grounded, and an electric signal is inputted to a connection member 18. A center contact 8 is in electrical contact with the connection member 18 and is slidable thereto. In a circuit base board 21, one end of an electric circuit thereof is electrically connected to the connector main body 1, the other end is formed with a first contact point 24, and an electric resistor 22 is equipped in the electric circuit. A second contact point 11 is equipped in the center contact 8 and opposed to the first contact point 24. An elastic body 14 energizes the center contact 8 to a plug connection side to bring the first contact point 24 into contact with the second contact point 11.
