<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate the setting of a recording start position and a reproduction starting position and facilitate the reflection of the intention of a user such as whether the recording is continuous or not, whether the recording starts from the same position every time, etc. CONSTITUTION: An MIC microcomputer 3 onto which a tape cassette 7 in which a tape and an MIC 8 are housed is loaded, an interface 3a by which data are communicated between the MIC 8 and the MIC microcomputer 3, a timer circuit 4 which supplies the date/time information to the MIC microcomputer 3 and a user input unit 1 which inputs information to the MIC microcomputer 3 are provided. The MIC microcomputer 3 stores the timer recording start time information, the position information of the timer recording start and an HL flag which holds the timer recording information and designates the next recording in accordance with the input information from the user input unit 1. The MIC microcomputer 3 executes the timer record and stores the recording start position information in the MIC 8 in accordance with the timer recording start time information and the tape position information.</p> |
