<p>PURPOSE: To prevent imperfect cleaning of an org. photoreceptor due to turning over by using a specified copolymer as the binder of the surface of the photoreceptor, using a specified developer and specifying the contact angle of a cleaning blade to the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION: A copolymer having at least the constituent units represented by the formulae is used as the binder of the surface of an org. photoreceptor and a developer contg. a magnetic carrier having 50-80μm vol. average particle diameter is used. The carrier having <44μm particle diameter contains by <3wt.% of the total amt. and the carrier having >=88μm particle diameter contains by <20wt.% of the total amt. A cleaning device having 6-25 deg. contact angle of a cleaning blade to an org. photoreceptor is also used. In the formulae, each of R1 -R8 is H, halogen, 1-3C alkyl or phenyl, R9 is 1-6C alkylene or alkylidene, each of R10 -R13 is alkyl or aryl and (n) is an integer of 1-200.</p> |
