The object of the invention is an information substrate, especially an envelope, with two layers (1, 2) joined together, viz. a front layer (1) and a rear layer (2), in which each layer (1, 2) has a separation mark (5, 6), especially a perforation line, running transversely over the layer (1, 2) between two opposite side edges (3, 4) and in which the two layers (1, 2) can be torn along the separation marks (5, 6) by grasping both layers (1, 2) at the side edges (3, 4) and pulling them in opposite directions. The special feature of this information substrate is that the separation marks (5, 6) of the two layers (1, 2) do not have the same coverage, at least not completely, so that, after tearing, the inside of each layer (1, 2) can be seen immediately in the region between the separation marks (5, 6). This provides an additional information surface on the information substrate on the inside of each layer. |
