The plastics pipe mat (1) comprises flexible plastics pipes coupled in parallel to a header via a flow connection. The flexible plastics pipes (6) are fitted to the headers (3,4) within the mat, with one header (3) forming the feed tube and the other (4) the outlet tube, in a single axis. The flexible plastics tubes form a loop (2) with a radius (R) of approx. 1/4 of the mat width. The headers may be closed by an end cap (5), which can also form their coupling.
