<p>A method of determining the presence and/or amount of an analyte species in a raw milk sample, wherein the raw milk sample, without any preparation thereof for removal of milk constituents, is contacted with an optical sensor surface and the presence and/or amount of said analyte species is determined by measuring a change in refractive index at the surface caused by a specific interaction at the surface related to the presence of said species in the raw milk sample.</p> |
