Freight transporter with integrated height=adjusting system

The transporter has at least one floor (1) on which freight can be laid, and is fitted with at least one lifting device (12-15) by which it can be raised. This may lift the floor from a rest position into a position in which it can be used. The lifting device may be countersunk into the floor when it is in the rest position. The lifting device may also have a pivoting axle (16) which can move easily in a guide (17) in the side of the floor. The transporter comprises rollers (6,7) which are height-adjustable, and may also have connections for coupling with railway wagons.
