PURPOSE:To provide a highly reliable carbon-dioxide-gas detecting sensor whose humidity characteristic is improved. CONSTITUTION:Two electrodes are provided so as to face each other with an ion conductor in-between in a carbon dioxide gas detecting sensor. The electric signal corresponding to the difference in concentrations between the gases in contact with respective electrodes is outputted. As the ion conductor, the solid solution of alkaline earth metal carbonate and alkali metal carbonate which does not contain crystal is used. The highly accurate measurement of the concentration of the carbon dioxide gas can be performed without the effect of the humidity of the gas to be measured. |
