The light fitting has an elongate housing (1) enclosing at least one tubular lamp (2), with mountings (4a,4b) at either end of the housing for securing it to a wall surface. The mountings allow the light fitting to be pivoted about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tubular lamp and provide a required relative spacing between the housing and the wall surface. Pref. the mountings are secured to the housing of the light fitting via snap-connections, each mounting pref. having a clamp element into which the corresponding end of the housing is fitted. |
