Knit or woven textile in which respective filaments are adhered to each other at predetermined positions of contact, and substantially no adhesive exists in the space except for the contact points, and which has a suitable softness and water permeability. This textile is produced by applying an adhesive which melts when heated to filaments at predetermined intervals, knitting or weaving the resulting filaments into knit or woven textile, and heating it to melt the adhesive for adhering the filaments to each other at the contact points. The knit or woven textile is useful as a blood vessel repairing sheet, an artificial blood vessel, etc.
