Sampling device for moist loose material

The sampling device has a vertically pivoted sampling pipe (1) and a stationary sample distributor, supported by a frame above an horizontal conveyor (5) for the loose material. A base-plate (2) within the sampling pipe acts as a piston, which is continuously displaced to collect a sample via a slot (3) in the bottom of the sampling pipe adjacent its rear end. The sample distribution device has a rotary distributor (6) with a number of angled reception slots (7) for feeding the sample material to a shaft (8) at the rear of the distributor, leading to a sample container (11).
