Magnetic field sensitive SQUID sensor arrangement

The SQUID sensor (20) includes a DC-SQUID (3) with two Josephson elements (5a,5b). The SQUID loop (30) surrounds a coupling hole (4), and a loop arrangement (21,22) receives field signals. An input coupling coil (11) with several windings (w) inductively couples flux signals into the SQUID loop. Screening currents (j) are induced at the edge (4a) of the coupling hole (4). Part of the SQUID loop is used as a coupling surface (31) next to the coupling hole (4) outside the region of at least one Josephson element (5a,5b). The DC-SQUID is made of HTSL material.
