Selective calling system for communication network elements

摘要

The calling system uses call signals transmitted from the central station (1) of the network, received by the network elements (2,3,4) for initiation of response signals. The central station holds information defining the structure of the network, combined with status information for the intermediate network elements, required for reaching the furthermost network elements, to only call those stations which can be reached.
