Mouldings for adsorbing mercury@ for discharge lamps, phosphor lamps

摘要

Mouldings for adsorption of Hg consist of a skeleton material and Hg as impregnating material. The skeleton material is a pre-sintered powder comprising several metals of 0.001-0.6 mm particle size forming an intermetallic alloy on melting or sintering. The skeleton material produces a metal-Hg composite by controlled pressing. Prodn. of the mouldings is also claimed.
