controlling a tuner, a PIP(picture in picture) unit and an on screen display by means of a timer; processing an output of the tuner and a reproducing signal of a head by means of a luminance/chrominance signal processing unit and applying the processed result to the PIP unit; controlling an output of the timer through first and second transistors each connected to each diodes, with a reproducing recording signal, a tuner synchronous signal and a line synchronous signal; at a predetermined time prior to a reservation recording time, controlling the tuner, the PIP unit and the on screen display to reproduce a reservation recording state on a mother screen and a son screen; and if the reservation recording time is reached, switching a reservation recording mode.
