The turbine has drive pockets (12) arranged displaced by a half-period symmetrically over the running surface periphery in both running surfaces. The turbine wheel (10) is activated via outlets in the turbine housing with operating medium, the outlets being surrounded by the bearing surfaces. Several spaced drive pockets are formed in the running surfaces of the turbine wheel, esp. in the form of prismatic cavities. The distances between the drive pockets are so chosen that the outlets on rotation of the turbine wheel through the area between two drive pockets are completely closed.
