A device for linking a window pane to a window lifter, in particular in motor vehicles, is characterised by a simple design and by the use of only a few parts. The device uses at least one pair of jaws that form-fittingly and/or frictionally engage each one side of the window pane, in the area of the edge of the window pane, and that on the other hand are secured to the mechanism of the window lifter. The device is characterised in that the jaws are divided into at least one inner contact jaw (1, 1', 1'', 1a', 1a'') swivellingly mounted on a base (10, 10a), and into outer supporting jaws (2', 2'', 2a', 2a'') which in their mounting position form-fittingly engage with their base (10, 10a) the inner contact jaw (1, 1', 1'', 1a', 1a'') so as to move in the mounting direction (7) of the window pane (3). When the working position is reached, the inner contact jaw (1, 1', 1'', 1a', 1a'') is locked in position between the supporting jaws (2', 2'', 2a', 2a''). |
