Vertically adjustable carrier suspension able to move along rail

The carrier suspension can move along a rail by at least two roller guides. Its height can be set by a shears mechanism, consisting basically of two crossed rods turning on an axis. At least one tension element, such as a cable, wire, rod or beam, is fitted parallel to one of the crossed rods and spaced out from it towards the mean plane of the suspension. Each tension element can be turned round two of the shears axes. At least one of the upper axes may be able to run on or in a vertical guide. There may be two groups of tension elements, symmetrical about the mean plane.
