<p>The present invention is a portable bookstand (1). The bookstand (1) has an openable bar or shelf (12) that can open 90 degrees off the main body and support a book. There are two adjustable hooks (11) that can hold the pages of the open book thereby eliminating the necessity of reader's hands holding the book open during reading. On the back (14) of the bookstand (1) there is a foldable support piece (16) that can be flexibly adjusted to many different angles so that the reader can have the book stay in the most comfortable position for his/her eyes while he/she is reading. A flippable bar (23) attached to the sides of the main body can be raised up to support large reading material. The bookstand (1) also has a display window (10) which can hold pictures, memoranda and the like.</p> |
