The flange (2) of the connector has a tubular inner section (1) in which the cable (3) is terminated with strain relief by a pressure screw (5) driven into a clamping portion (4) around the cable sheath. The exposed cores (6) of the cable are sepd. and embedded in casting resin (8) which fills the remainder of the cavity. Free sockets (9) on the ends of the cores are compatible with counterparts (10) on the motor which are sleeved (12,13) to prevent electrical contact with other connections.
