The positioning support for the retractable sleeve is intended to carry the expanded sleeve, position it on the element to be covered and hold it in place. The support comprises two separate tubular elements. A temporary blocking element is provided for retaining the end part of the tubular element (10A), whilst the other part of the tubular element (10B) is fitted into place. The temporary block is provided by a strap fitting around the end of the sleeve. The sleeve is intended to cover a joint (3) formed between the ends of two cables (5). |
