The blade-to-blade vibration damper comprises a primary planar load face oriented to abut a portion of a first blade, and a secondary planar load face oriented to abut a portion of a second blade, the secondary face intersecting the primary face forming a vertex with it, the vertex having an included angle having a value of at least about 90 degrees. It also has a distribution of mass in the damper such that a centre of gravity of it is offset from the vertex in a direction toward the primary face. The damper further comprises a base connected to both the primary and secondary faces and a first leg extending from the base and oriented to abut a portion of a disk to position the damper primary and secondary faces proximate the respective first and second blade portions. |
