A support and protection housing element 11, for e.g. pipes, cables on the underside of a vehicle, includes, locally, projecting from a base 12, fixing means 15 suitable for supporting at least one pipe or cable and formed by two separate elements staggered longitudinally with respect to one another along the base 12, namely a holding element 15A suitable for acting on the pipe or cable from one side with respect to the base 12, and a support element 15B and/or 15B' suitable for acting from the opposite side to the previous one. Parallel pipes or cables may be supported by rows of respective elements 15A, 15B.
