PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of an air bag device. CONSTITUTION: A retainer 12 is integrated with a cover 18 with the synthetic resin. An air bag 14 and a retainer 16 are fitted to the retainer 12, and folded along a recessed streak 30 to cap the cover 18 on the retainer 12, and connected and fixed to each other by rivets. Because the retainer and the cover are integrated with the synthetic resin, the assembly of these members is extremely facilitated.
