PURPOSE: To reduce pallet transfer recovery at the time of transfer between processes so as to reduce the product damage by providing a shared buffer with pallet delivery mechanism. CONSTITUTION: Assembly cells 1, 2 and an inspection cell 3 are disposed linearly in a Y-direction so as to form a cell group. A buffer shelf 4 is a large shelf disposed parallel with the cell group. Out of the buffer shelf 4, a shared beffer 5 part is shared by the assembly cells 1, 2, and a shared buffer 6 part is shared by the assembly cell 2 and the inspection cell 3. Between the cell group and the buffer shelf 4, a travel rail 7a is laid parallel with them. Stacker cranes 8, 9 are engaged in the travelable state on the travel rail 7a, and the stacker crane 8 travels in the range of the shared buffer 5, while the stacker crane 9 travels in the range of the shared buffer 6. The stacker crane 8 moves a fork 28 by a travel unit and an elevating unit 26 so as to position it to the buffer shelf 4. |
