PURPOSE: To produce a nonoriented silicon steel sheet excellent in magnetic characteristics by subjecting the slab of a special elements-added steel subjected to continuous forging to slight heating, subjecting it to rough rolling and executing finish rolling, pickling, annealing, cold rolling and finish annnealing in succession in specified temp. ranges. CONSTITUTION: A steel contg., by weight, <=0.005% C, 0.1 to 1.5% Si, 0.l to 1.5% Mn, <=0.2% P, 0.001 to 0.010% S, 0.004% Al, <=0.003% N and <=0.015% total oxygen and furthermore contg. one or >=two kinds among 0.01 to 0.20% Sb, 0.01 to 0.20% Sn, 0.05 to O.80% Cu and 0.0005 to 0.0040% solid solution B is melted and is subjected to continuous casting. This steel slab is subjected to slight heating at 1100 to 1200 C for >=5min and is subjected to rough rolling at temp. Next, it is retained at >=930 deg.C surface temp. for >=60sec, is thereafter subjected to finish rolling and is coiled at <=700 deg.C. The obtd. hot rolled sheet is pickled, is thereafter annealed and is subjected to cold rolling including process annealing. Successively, it is subjected to finish annealing. The solid solution B can be obtd. by B-(10/14)N} (wt%). |
