PURPOSE: To provide a can wherein a code mark is printed on the outer periphery of the seam part of its lid by ink jet, and provide its printing method. CONSTITUTION: At least a code mark 7 concerning the manufacture of a can 2 is printed on the outer periphery of the seam part of a can lid 3 around the edge of one end of the necked-in can 2 of a can 1. As for the code mark printing method, at least the code mark 7 concerning the manufacture of the can 2 is printed on the outer periphery 4 of the seam part by ink jet after seaming the can lid 3 around the edge of one end of the can 2. |
