PURPOSE: To obtain a decoction beverage capable of being taken daily like tea by decocting with hot water and suppressing specific smells of Thai edible plants by mixing Japanese herbs and vegetables. CONSTITUTION: Source materials for this purpose are prepared as follows; leaf source materials such as Artemisia vulgaris, Cymbopogon citatus, Ginkgo bilaba, Lycium chinense Mill are cut into pieces having 3-5 am length and root source materials such as Languas galanga and Zingiber officinale Rose. are sliced into thin pieces. They are washed with water in a water tank, dried in the sun for 2-5 days and further dried 1-4 days in a dryer at 60-70 deg.C. This decoction beverage is taken for health by decocting with water and produced by blending 10-15 pts.wt. Languas galanga, a Thai plant, 10-15 pts.wt. Cymbopogon citatus, 10-15 pts.wt. Angelica acutiloba Kitagawa and 10-15 pts.wt. Coixma-yuen Roman. with 100 pts.wt. Artemisia vulgaris, a japanese plant. The beverage has not only cancer suppressing effect but various effects such as recovery of potency and fatigue, heartburn dissolution, white hair inhibition, recovery of physical strength, etc. |
