PURPOSE: To precisely match positions of an laser beam and an object to be machined with each other by detecting a deviated amount of the fixed or stopped object to be machined from a reference position, correcting the deviated amount by using a laser beam optical system and allowing the laser beam to scan. CONSTITUTION: A picture recognizing mark 21 of a picture fetching stage Q is picked-up with an image pickup camera 22, the picture signal is inputted to an image processor 23 and the deviated amount of a continuous sheet like object 20 from the reference position is outputted to a controlling unit 4. The continuous sheet like object 20 is carried to a machining stage P so as not to cause the position deviation. The controlling unit 4 adds a scanning output signal after correction to a scanner controller 24, makes X-axial and Y-axial scanning signals and adds them to a scanner driver 25, turns and positions a laser mirror for the laser beam machining. Therefore, because the deviated amount of the continuous sheet like object 20 is corrected with the laser beam optical system while the object 20 is fixed as it is and the laser beam is allowed to scan, so the precise machining and the simplification of the device are realized. |
