PURPOSE: To obtain a pet food having an extremely high palatability by pets due to its not simple but rich variety of texture, taste and crispness and excellent in nutritious balance by mixing three kinds or more of small pieces each having different composition of nutritious components. CONSTITUTION: This pet food is obtained by blending three kinds or more of small pieces having the different composition of nutritious components each other, preferably three kinds or more of small pieces having >=5wt.% differences in rough protein contents. Specifically, a mixture of (A) small pieces containing much animal protein and having >=30wt.% rough protein content, 10-13wt.% rough fat content and <=6wt.% rough ash content, (B) small pieces containing much vegetable protein and having >=20wt.% rough protein content, 8-12wt.% rough fat content and <=6wt.% rough ash content, (C) small pieces containing vitamins and having <=15wt.% rough protein content, <=5wt.% rough fat content and <=6wt.% rough ash content and (D) small pieces containing much minerals and having <=8wt.% rough protein content, <=5wt.% rough fat content and >=15wt.% rough ash content, is preferable. |
