PURPOSE: To prevent the pull-out of a catheter even if the catheter is inadvertently pulled by penetrating an injection needle to an end point from a beginning point to be subcutaneously embedded with the catheter, guiding a block needle with the injection needle and pulling off the block needle after inserting the catheter to the block needle. CONSTITUTION: The injection needle 2 is penetrated to the end point 5 from the beginning point 4 to be subcutaneously embedded with the catheter 1 and the block needle 3 is guided with the injection needle 2 from the end point 5 to the beginning point 4, by which the catheter 1 is inserted into the block needle 3 from its front end and thereafter, the block needle 3 is pulled off to subcutaneously embed and fix the catheter 1. As a result, the pull-out of the catheter is prevented even if the catheter is inadvertently pulled. The occurrence of the complication of the catheter is reduced. Further, this method is clinically executable without requiring special appliances. |
