PURPOSE: To obtain a human transcriptional factor IIIA (hTFIIIA) gene capable of coding a specific amino acid sequence, readily mass-producing the hTFIIIA and useful for diagnosing or identifying genetic diseases such as cancer caused by an abnormality in transcriptional regulation, treatment, analysis, etc., of the mechanism of action by the transcriptional regulation thereof. CONSTITUTION: This hTFIIIA gene has an open reading frame comprising 1269 nucleotides (nucleic acid), capable of coding 423 amino acids capable of coding an amino acid sequence represented by the formula and comprises nine C2H2 type zinc finger domains. Furthermore. a hTFIIIA protein is obtained by integrating the gene into a vector of a microorganism and culturing the resultant transformed microorganism. |
