PURPOSE: To provide a split type vulcanization mold capable of reducing the number of centering adjusting processes at the time of the attachment of the mold to a vulcanizer and capable of enhancing the quality of a tire at the same time. CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical guide 7 concentric to the lower mold ring 1 of a split type vulcanization mold is provided to the upper surface of the outer end part of the lower platen 8 to which the lower mold ring 1 of the split type vulcanization mold is fixed so as to centripetally move an outer ring 5 when the outer ring 5 falls to the vicinity of the axial lower end of the guide 7 and the attaching part 13 with the bolster plate 6 of a vulcanizer of the outer ring 5 is loosely fitted to the outer ring 5. By this constitution, when the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring 5 comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical guide 7, the outer ring 5 can be moved in a horizontal direction by the attaching part 13.
