PURPOSE: To surly cut a rice cake pushed out from a nozzle by causing a drive means to apply push-pull motion to a cutter so as to cut the rice case, in addition to press-cutting of the rice cake. CONSTITUTION: In the rice cake cutter with which rice cakes pushed out through a nozzle 3 from a hopper are successively cut by the operation of the extruder incorporating a screw, the intermediate part of a second crank 14 is journalled 19 to the outer peripheral part of the rotary plate 18 while the proximal end of the second crank 14 is coupled to a first bearing shaft 11 through the intermediary of a first crank 12. With this arrangement, a cutter 20 attached to the other end part of the second crank 14 is horizontally moved bit by bit, being located in the vicinity of the upper side of the nozzle 3, until it has passed from the lower side, during crossing before the nozzle, so as to cut a rice cake extruded from the nozzle 3. Further, at that time, the cutter is pulled so as to retract toward the support shaft 11, thereby it is possible to surely cut the rice cakes. |
