PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition containing an extract of maize flour capsulated into vesicles, effective for preventing aging of skin and treating wounds, etc., due to excellently promoting effects on regeneration and activation of cell and tissue of the skin. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 0.02-5 wt.% based on the total of the composition of an extract of maize flour capsulated into vesicles in a medium permissible as a cosmetic and/or dermatological substance. A lipid constituting the vesicles includes lecithin or sphingomyelin as an ionic lipid and an ester of a sorbitol polyoxyethylene as a nonionic lipid. The composition is preferably prepared in a form of a water-in-oil type or oil-in water type emulsion, paste, lipophilic or hydrophilic gel or lipophilic or hydrophilic liquid solution. |
