<p>PURPOSE: To provide a wheel cutter type putting apparatus constituted so as to automatically change the pressing pressure of a wheel cutter to a work corresponding to the total running distance of the wheel cutter, long in the life of the wheel cutter and imparting excellent quality stability to the cut surface of the work. CONSTITUTION: A control part 12 operates the total running distance of a wheel cutter 9 on the basis of numerical value control data and stores not only the operation result but also the relational expression or table showing the relation between the total running distance and proper pressing pressure. The proper pressing pressure at this point of time is calculated on the basis of the total running distance and the relational expression or table and the electric signal corresponding to the proper pressing pressure is outputted to an electricity/air pressure converter (electropneumatic regulator) 5. The electricity/air pressure converter 5 supplies air of proper pressing pressure to a pressing cylinder 8 through a solenoid valve 6 on the basis of the electric signal.</p> |
