PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus by which pulse wave transmitting time can conveniently and accurately be measured without influence of time delay of pulse movement to the wave R of electrocardiographic voltage. CONSTITUTION: An electrocardiographic voltage signal is detected by an electrocardiographic voltage detecting part 31 and a finger point pulse wave is detected by a finger point pulse wave detecting part 32 and the delay time DT of the pulse movement of the aorta starting part to the wave R of the electrocardiographic voltage is estimated based on the electrocardiographic wave shape and the pulse wave signal by the second time calculating part 34. Then, in the first time calculating part 33, from inspection of the wave R of the electrocardiographic voltage, the time Dsp when the pulse wave with the same heart rate is detected is calculated by a finger point pulse wave sensor 7 and the pulse wave transmitting time, PTT=Dsp --DT is calculated by a pulse wave transmitting time calculating part 35. |
